Test Box

Some has probably mentioned this.... but a "test box" pcb would be cool. I'd pay for it.

A well thought out pcb = with input /output jacks, dc power, foot switch, pots for LED brightness (taps to measure LDR setting on pot, etc), other??? etc and connections to lead clips out to test board. Taps and / or output for current measurement, volts, etc??

Would be immensely useful for hooking up to board for test prior to installing in enclosures

Yeah - you could wire your own up but still. Having it all solder to a drop in a 125 enclosure as a pcb would be cool

Also add in a headphone amp, signal generator, test probe, and charge pump for -9v, 9v, 12v, 18v would be sweet!

I made something like this and found it extremely useful with all of these features. Would very much love to see a clean pedalpcb version though!

What I made for testing/troubleshooting is not really what you asked for. It's more like the elementary school version...especially after seeing the reubenreub version (Nice!) Mine is pretty basic, but someone might find it helpful, or build off of it.

Here is a thread from a while back with with a few more ideas, similar to Iceman's (very tidy be the way). Mostly just talking about simple boxes, I agree reubenreub's is very impressive.

Great stuff - definitely would be a cool project. Lots of thought goes into this and it would save a ton of time to have a well thought out solution.

I have made the same box as reubenreub from the JMK PCB, I just find it all a bit much. I never use anything but the basic bypass and the audio probe (which I have built separately anyhow). Small and simple for me!
