The Opposite of Pedal Industry Faux Pas

When I was very, VERY new to messing with pedals/electronics/etc...I had a Timmy that started having some problems. I sent Paul a message about it and he helped me troubleshoot and figure out that it was just the footswitch going out. He offered to fix it if I wanted to send it to him, or could just walk me through how to replace it myself. I had extremely limited experience soldering *anything* at that point but with a bit of direction was able to get the switch replaced and my Timmy back to playing good as new. I'm sure he didn't think anything of it at the time but I thought that was really cool. Paul, if you see this, thank you! (I think I have seen him post here a time or two).

It's also been mentioned but Brian Wampler has always seemed like a pretty down to earth guy. He helped give me some tips on modding an old SD1 I had years ago and helped me understand a lot better (again, pretty much a total noob at this time) what I was doing.
I believe has also published a bunch of his own material on modding pedals and etc for free. I haven't had much interaction beyond that but just seems like a pretty easy guy to get along with...I guess what I'm saying is that I never got that "celebrity" vibe, just always seemed like a pretty normal guy who likes playing guitar and messing with pedals and happens to be pretty successful at doing so.

And lastly it's not a pedal thing but Zhangbucker pickups. I think the owner's name is David maybe? Can't remember for sure. They are not a particularly big operation but a while back we emailed back and forth on some pickup recommendations. Ultimately we couldn't settle on something that would quite meet my needs but he was happy to give some other recommendations from other builders that might be a better fit. I don't even remember what I ended up settling on, but that's whatever. Just thought it was pretty cool to have a relatively small builder pass up the opportunity for a sale and basically say "I don't think I have anything that would totally hit what you're asking for, but this guy might". I've since used some of their other pickups and they're really good, BTW.

PedalPCB.Com, AionFX, MadBean Pedals, GeneralGuitarGadgets...to name a few...
How could I forget, we have an upcoming release that is a collaboration with a builder. He contacted me about offering a DIY version of his flagship pedal. I thought that was pretty dang cool.
Is that the dude with the name that rhymes with Palumbo? Looking forward to that!!
