CONTEST
What's Happening with y'all?
I'm trying to figure out the best way to goose the output of some vintage silicon fuzz circuits with minimal effect on the tone. I'm leaning towards just sticking an AMZ Mosfet Boost at the tail end of the circuits, even though it's going to kill the metal can transistor aesthetic that I was going for with these builds. Tacking on an LPB-1 at the end seems to dampen the treble frequencies no matter how high of an hFE the transistor has, and increasing the volume pot value has a similar effect. Trade offs, trade offs...

Lego-related: I have a ton of Harry Potter sets in my classroom. Sadly, they’re all hidden in my cabinet because I don’t have a safe place to display them away from sticky-fingered students. (I’m not talking about food either!)

And speaking of work, JFC I am snowed under this time of year. Barely any time for guitar, barely any time for building, barely any time to unwind… But goddammit, I was able to finish a Madbean Touchstone chorus and a Kliche SE this weekend, and that will hold me over until the next spot of free time!

That ends this round! Onto round two...

How about a groovy $50 StompBoxParts gift code? Need some more componentry in your stash?

RocknRoll!

Everyone's still in it, but feel free to graffiti the thread until Fri. ;)
Ooo, I wasn't so enticed by Sweetwater, but do love me some StompBoxParts (us Canadians have to be picky with our cross-border shopping. Ha). Kind of you to keep it going!

In the meantime I'll be trying to fix/adjust an old multi-effect I built that combines a delay, Rub-a-Dub Reverb, ROG Tonemender and a simple cab sim. I want to use the Delay/Reverb/Tonemender in the effects loop of my new amp, but don't like the delay circuit (modified Ersatz Verben, as I wanted the simplest possible). Going to try a different small delay circuit, I think.

Confession: I don't think I have ever ordered from StompBoxParts. I surf them all of the time and probably have a cart but I am just slow to hit go. I'm kinda a miser.
