Time it takes Tayda to reply

Does anyone know roughly how long it takes Tayda to reply?
I managed to screw up an order (again!) at the weekend for a UV print. I missed off the gloss 🤦‍♂️
So I placed a second order with it but I can’t assign the gloss to the first order. It’s weird.
I mailed them on the web site and also emailed the address for help on the order email I received.
I have yet to receive a reply on the web site or email.
Do you usually have to wait this long?
I have been in touch with Hugo before and he was usually very prompt.
Thoughts??
 
I sent a question to their help desk August 17, 2022. Still awaiting a reply :cry:.

That's a hell of a backlog. A guy I used to work with would forget to set out of office replies on his emails before he'd go on holiday. When he got back he'd just delete them all and pretend like he didn't receive them. :ROFLMAO:

I had a very similar issue (including trying to place a second order to append to the first one but finding out I just ended up with a stranded order for a print job on an enclosure that couldn’t be applied to what I bought under the first order). It took Hugo about a day or two to reply and basically his only solution was to cancel and refund both orders and have me place it again (there’s no way to associate the second order with the first). So that’s what he did, along with giving me a bit of grief about double checking my order next time. However, the cancellation and refund was very prompt right after that.

I had the same problem - like the other Mike said... had to cancel, refund, and start over as there is no way in their software to merge the orders.

That being said, my second order started through production but then came to a screeching halt and has been sitting for over a week... I'm guessing that they're in another one of their extended holidays... :(

I would be happy with that and just combine both orders.
Would just be nice for them to get back to me to start the process!

I asked a question on Tue Jul 17th and got an answer on Jul 18th.

But tbh if you asked a question near the weekend, it's only been one workday. It has taken them around two days usually to respond to me, so I'd say just relax.

Plus there's like 5 different boxes you need to check that you verified that you have everything you need, so it's on you if you mess it up.

Having said that, I also did that once and they cancelled the first order and I remade it with the custom drill jobs included. Now I double and triple check that I have the correct number (and type) of enclosures, drills, print jobs and glosses. The rest of the stuff I can order separately if I forget something but that's the important bits.

I suspect it could also be that there's a long queue because someone put in an order for 50 or 100 enclosures or something. And again, they do have disclaimers that it can take weeks to get things built, and it's on us if we expect it to go faster (as it often does).

It’s totally on me. It was my mistake.
I get that, and contacted them as soon as I realized.
I tried re ordering and thought it would just be added to my account and I could use it on any order.
Hopefully they can just refund the order and I can start again. I will give them a few more days. I know i should have checked. They do give you enough chances 🤦‍♂️ was just on auto pilot for some reason.
Oh well will wait and see…..
 
FWIW my order mistake was a support ticket, the other question was to Hugo directly.
