Tone Vendor MK2 NPN

Is it possible to run NPN transistors in this?
any way and or need to bypass the charge pump?

I think I've already replied to your email, but for future reference:

1) Omit C5 and IC1
2) Install a jumper wire between pads 5 and 8 of IC1 (unpopulated)
3) Install C3, C6, and C7 reversed (positive lead of capacitor into negative pad on the PCB)
