I have never built a Tube Screamer.

The only TS I own is a Kokko.

I guess I'm just not that into Tube Screamers. Maybe I should be. Who can recommend a TS to me? PedalPCB by preference, of course.

I haven't built a straight up TS yet (seems a travesty) but I have built a Golden Pearl (from HamishR's layout) and a Paisley Drive, both of which are based on the venerable TS.

I don't have gut pics, the Golden Pearl isn't boxed yet, but the Paisley Drive is.

FWIW I would pick the Pearl over the Paisley but I'd be happy with either.

This was one of the first pedals I built in 2008/09 (along with a Big Muff) from Tonepad. Etched the boards with a friend back then. I have long sold it since then. So I hope this really old shitty photo from 2009 is good enough (it's the only one I have)

This is the third or fourth pedal I ever built. BYOC OD2. never did play it much. I liked my LPB-1 build better to push my 2204. I painted it with black stove paint, same as the LPB-1. Always liked the look, always didn't like that I couldn't remember what all these controls were for
