Uber fuzz low volume

My Uber fuzz build has low volume and I’ve been trying to fix this for a while. The fuzz works the output is just very low. Also I noticed that on my board, the clipping diodes have the same orientation rather than having opposite orientation on the board. I’m not sure if this is a printing mistake or not, but I’ve tried the diodes in the way the board is as well as the way it says in the building documents and no change.

The schematic shows the anode of one going straight to ground and the cathode of another going straight to ground. You can use a multimeter to see if this is the same as yours. Pictures would be helpful.

My first suspect would be a mis-selected component value. I’d double check all your resistors and caps.

I know what the schematic says, checked with a multimeter as well it seems that the orientation is the same and each diode is grounded in a different spot. It’s just confusing because the parts layout in the building documents has them going a different way than what’s printed on the pcb. I’ll check the components.

If it was a diode issue, I imagine your problem would be more volume, not lack of it…
