Preface: this isn’t a troubleshoot thread as much as it is a “help me understand” something. I am currently designing a distortion circuit for the purpose of learning how circuit design works. I started with a basic circuit (Electra), and started building up from there. I’m working on getting the schematic typed up. For now the attached picture will have to suffice…
I get distortion and all that, but certain notes oscillate…like a ring mod sound. What would cause this?
