Victory... For the Win!

I finished up my third in the series of Victory V1 pedals last night - The Jack, AKA The Joker. Built the PedalPCB Cetus (Kraken) a few months ago, The Cobbler (The Copper) and now the Jack on Vero. Loving using each of these pedals. The Copper is 100% Vox AC30, and has become my "almost" clean tone - bright, rich, sparkly clean tones. There's definitely overlap on the Jack and Kraken, but where they really differ is with the Mids control. With The Jack, you can get a super-smooth, super-thick mid-forward lead tone - really fantastic. I love these 3 so much that I'm probably going to rebuild them as my "channel switching" amp into a single enclosure (see my other thread: https://forum.pedalpcb.com/threads/amp-like-channel-switching-for-pedals.16316/)

Anyway, the Vero went smoothly, other than a couple of rookie mistakes I shouldn't have made (but easily fixable) - offboard wiring with 5 pots is always fun! ;) Here are a few pics of the build, along with the Victory siblings:

I love a good vero build! Im interested in how a vero version of this sounds! Great build dude!
Thanks! Like the Kraken, the Jack has a higher noise floor than I'd like when the gain is past noon, but nothing terrible. Same on both the PedalPCB and vero builds.

The only mod I made to all 3 pedals was switching out the Volume pots to audio taper. Otherwise, huge volume ramp up in the first quarter turn. Would suggest this to anyone building these PCBs.

Awesome! I think it just being on Vero the grounding isn’t as strong as a pcb. So I think that’s just the nature of the circuit when built on Vero IMO. Still I bet it sounds great incredible!
