What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

@Fizz
Maybe tape up the enclosure but leave enough tape-gap around the holes to be drilled so the bit isn't grabbing at any tape;
that way you protect the overall finish, and if you do get some chips scratches close to the hole, it still won't matter because knobs...

I use the same method: tape the whole thing up, hole punch, pilot hole with my smallest bit, then I go up one or two sizes, then step bit. I don’t usually get shavings under the tape, at least not substantially if I do. Are you using titanium bits? I found that those are necessary.

I don't even know what to do with this information 😞

It is at least the one scenario I can think of that I would agree to, on top of it being someone I’m friendly with: these are commissions for a guy that runs a studio and he really enjoyed the idea/joke of them being “black mojo mystery boxes.”

A dual charge pumped amp in a box pedal without labels just feels kind of cruel though lmao, I got unity gain I wanna say at 9 o’clock

On the search for a tiny circuit to fill a little gap in my rack:

Just tested the El Sol :

What a nasty device!
It won't be a main-stay in my current set-up because I already use the Acid Rain which is more versatile, but El Sol could be super valuable in a more minimalistic rig. I'll be glad to add it to the SCHMORG reserve once I cut a real faceplate.
How about a Je T'aime? (Lovepedal JTM). It's also a wee little board but sweet and bodacious drive sounds out of it.
