What are you using to route them if you dont mind me asking?I routed the dovetails today in like 20 minutes, and like another 20 sanding
A fixed base router and a dovetail jigWhat are you using to route them if you dont mind me asking?
Electric Druid Flanger for a commission. Just waiting on some multiturn trim pots so I can be extra anal about clock bleedthrough.
Had to get creative with a capacitor (far right) after realizing the BOM called for a few ceramics and not film - only caring bc its a commission. Still not sure if I’m gonna try to swap out the others. Might just parallel some smd caps onto the bottom because I obviously didn’t succeed at desoldering.
The ceramic caps are just a money saving option due to those not being in the audio path. Definitely no need to desolder to replace them. There will be no impact whatsoever on the circuit using the more expensive film caps there.
BTW an 072 works fine. I'll save the 2134 when maximum fi is called for. While I await the arrival of a substantial Tayda order, I've been merrily breadboarding away with gusto and abandon. Can't wait to discover the customs fees, holding thumbs for the inevitable shock and horror to ensue tomorrow morning.
This order includes a pre-drilled housing and the requisite pots for my impending Hydra build which has been on my wishlist for aeons (pun intended, sorry).

Here's Aion's Proxima compressor (based on John Hollis' flatline), and the PPCB Mach One drive for good measure below.
Both useful in their own way. The Mach One is nice and fuzzy as one might expect. An OPA2134 does seem like overkill IMHO so I might try subbing an 072 in the course of today.

Thanks for reading as always. NGBS and enjoy the rest of this weekend.
Happy Birthday!Today I turn 47 so of course my present to my self is a malfunctioning Fuzzrite. Sad birthday to me

The second transistor doesn't do much, with Depth all the way up there is less volume and less gain. Everything else works fine, the bass pot I added works as well. What do you guys think, did I fry or partially fry Q2 or is it just a bad connection and some of the signal from Q2 is lost on the way to the output?
If all else fails I got myself two Russian suppositories.
EDIT: I noticed the 25uF filter cap is in backwards. This NPN but I soldered it with the positive sound to ground.
Is it your birthday too today?!what’s on my workbench today? Just a whole lot of projects to finish up for my Final Crits that are tomorrow. Super stress time!— two sculptures to finish putting together, need to print an edition of 20 woodcuts that I cut this morning, as well as a dozen 18x24 3-plate linocut posters, and need to finish painting some ceramic stuff with watercolors. Not the most fun way to spend a birthday, but I guess it could be worse.
Happy birthday!Alright I reflowed a couple of joints, I noticed that the 47nF cap connecting Q1c to Q2b was kinda touching where it shouldn't so I jiggled it and...
...THE FUZZRITE WORKS! Now to wire it up when my Banzai order comes in, hopefully next weekend. Stay tuned for a build report.

This isn't my easiest birthday for sure, what with a bunch of personal issues this year, but a friend today treated me to coffee and cake and this little pedal works so I'll take it!
I did too!okay be honest, how many of you sang that in your head?
