Yup they were TL074's for @cooder custom board that I just can't seem to get to finishing.....complicated build and requires some attention to detail that I just haven't been able to find time for. But I'm taking my annual end of year break for a few weeks after next week. On the docket is to finish that build and also build out a couple of @Passinwind 's preamp boards that are also begging to be built!

On my workbench today will be a Cornish-ish G-2 breadboard. Well, actually it will be a regular breadboard with a Cornish-ish G-2 circuit poking out of it. I've heard a LOT of discussion surrounding the diodes, and since I have a decent selection of those semiconductors, I'm hoping for some finger-cramping sustains and tantalizing tones....assuming I can piece together a working circuit

Sigh, what's on my workbench today is.......work....lots of it. I have the rest of this week and next week to get about a bazillion deliverables out the door before taking 3 weeks off. My first post in this thread follows the first post of this thread, I’m shielding my bass 
Then a Aion TS-50 redesigned to fit a B+ enclosure.
And I have to remove a dip switch of a PedalPCB Parentheses Fuzz because it’s to deep from the upper side. I also shrinked the PCB but unfortunately it did not fit the B Enclosure with jacks on top. That’s why I use a B+ for the TS-50.

I have something similar and it’s waiting on a transistor and a 1.5uF.
I tried to combine some, but I don’t have the right combination unfortunately. I did do some creative resistance though- both S and P.

I compared the shop image to your pic, so I am feeling confident. Maybe I should focus on building instead of playing detective.

Companion FY-2 with boost. Found the schematic online and came up with this. Ive since changed the way the Fuzz knob is wired. This works ok but it's a tone control. Very useful because this circuit is mad harsh. I also put the Volume pot after the boost. Now it goes well above unity.
It does not sound like the basic circuit but that was unusable. This one is much clearer, still super gated like a powerful but zippy fart. And with the volume rolled off a tad it becomes quite soulful, surprisingly. Using the Tone in the guitar also yields useful tones.
This version has the switch to bypass the mid scoop section. The 39k is a placeholder until I actually test which value keeps the volume consistent across both positions.
Already dreaming of acquiring a proper wedge enclosure for it.
I'm also trying out all my songs and riffs to see what fits what. Also writing new stuff!
