Im in the same boat. I bought a 4ft by 8ft particle board to work as my workbench. I thought i had all the room in the world. Nope i have only like 1.5ft of work space availableIt's a mysterious thing....

My wife started helping ship orders last year (okay she's basically taken over the job entirely) and when I build prototypes I have to spread all my components out on the shipping bench.... This was never a problem when it was just me because if I'm building I obviously ain't shipping.
She's had enough of that (and I'm tired of hearing the fussing) so I built a second shipping station. We now have the solder bench and two shipping benches...
I haven't set up the second bench yet so it's a cluttered mess at the moment, but the Lot Lizard PCBs came in late yesterday afternoon and I wanted to build one up pretty quickly...
Imagine her surprise when she walked in yesterday evening and I still had all my damned components spread out across the bench.
"Alright now, what in the hell!?"

I wanted to try out the pin nailer I bought a few weeks ago but I have a bad coupler on my air compressor so clamps it is. When the glue dries, I'll mount the brackets and call it a day. I might tolex it later if I get some money

I crammed a buffer - with footswich - into one of those little fuckers. Still twitch thinkin about it
