What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

Definitely wishlist worthy. The CP9Pro+ appears to be in the $150-200 range in the wild. This one was a rush job so didn’t get much of a look at the board. THAT chips but didn’t notice the voltage doubling circuit.

I made a little double reamp box with headphone jack for monitoring while recording. It will replace this shitty peavey mixer ive been using for 15 years

I kinda messed up the execution on this but I made it work. I didn't take into account the extra lugs on the transformers sticking out so I had to rotate the board vs what I envisioned. I feel like I might correct it one day

Nothing good comes easy, or something like that. Close to perfect, and that's before matte clear coat, which will hide whatever's left to be hidden.

Then again, most of my past project had these miniscule imperfections that, when viewed months later, I don't mind at all anymore.

You got the better tele jack plate! I hate originals. P90s too! Nice choice. I prefer them to the neck pickup. Now you just need an angled pickup selector slot.

Long delayed 4 X EL34 bass amp build is finally moving along again:

But today I noticed that the output transformer I bought 5+ years ago is actually the wrong model, so I pinged Heyboer to see if they might cut me a Bro Deal on the right one. The bolt mounting centers are the same for both and this 50 watt one I have actually made 90 watts before clipping on my test bench, which is pretty impressive for a DR503 clone. I paid for a DR103 clone, but at this point can hardly expect them to do much about it after I installed it, cut the lead wires, ran it for a few hours, etc. I may end up just running it with two output tubes, which the power amp board already has a switch for, and being happy with what measured as 60 watts. Probably better for guitar, but not so ideal for bass. 😎

Followup:

Heyboer did end up offering me a very deep discount on a DR103 OT clone today, so I'll go ahead with that and look to move the 50 watter in a package deal with a NOS 60 watt version of the power amp board pictured upthread, along with a matching power trafo. The 60 watt board has a DC heater voltage regulator onboard, plus regulated +/- 15V supplies broken out on a header connector, so lots of easy DIY preamp options on tap. And I've already verified that the OT is actually good for 60 watts with two EL34s. I have a few more of the 100 watt boards and matching power transformers as well, they work fine for 6L6 family tubes as well. If anyone here wants to explore either option, just PM me please. Ineed to move a few of these things, I am never going to get around to building with them myself. Oh, and I have parts for an AC30-ish build as well - 4 x EL84 power board, power transformer, and power choke. Switching for two tube 15 watt mode built in as well, and then triode mode that takes it down to 8 watts.

Attached are my Gerber files without logos. Note that the ZIF connector works for every 3 sockets. You can see in the traces below. I use the Banana sockets (Tayda sells them <-click link) and they have the solder connection underneath. If you do not want to cut off your hook probes, you can just hook them underneath the board.

Download the file and remove the .txt extension. The forum doesn't allow ZIP file extensions...
@Fever2112 Just got my boards in from JLC, WOOT!
I think I will leave my DCA stock and solder some loops to the Banana plug pads.
Now I need to find a ZIF connector and I'll be all set!
Thanks so much man!

I was never a fan of the milk box but think I have it kicking around somewhere so will have to revisit, perhaps at 18v.
