Or socket the areas you plan to experiementI don’t have a bread board, so maybe I’ll just socket the entire PCB haha.. is that dumb??

Not sure I do either, but I've been planning to get into breadboarding, so I figure even if I don't make the deadline, it'll get me on my way to better understanding circuitsI don’t have nearly the time to tackle this contest but what a cool idea Chuck! Good luck everyone. Looking forward to seeing the results

I’ve seen it done before with a madbean muff style board.I don’t have a bread board, so maybe I’ll just socket the entire PCB haha.. is that dumb??
well.....Maybe a tube screamer, maybe I could build a tube screamer….
You could call it....The Black Sheep BatI'm looking at a chopped Roland BeeBaa ala the BAT Black Sheep.
Sweet, that’s kind of how I am attacking it.I'll throw out a broad hint: Any pedal circuit with no ICs and four or fewer transistors is a potential contest entry. Get it working, then worry about how to fit it on the Muffin Board. You can put parts in sideways, put resistors where caps go, install jumpers, stick parts on the backside, it's all fair game. Install as many controls as you like. The winner might have seven pots, it might have zero. The trick is to not over-constrain yourself.

Don't forget your flux capacitor either! No problemoI just need to work out how to attach the biofeedback loop into the envelope filter.

Don't laugh! When I took a class in Electronic Music in college, the professor had composed a piece of music where part of the synth control came from EEG electrodes stuck to his head. Needless to say, it was a trippy piece. No problemoI just need to work out how to attach the biofeedback loop into the envelope filter.

Call me crazy, but I never have liked flux on my capacitors.
