But the soft truth is easier to accept! The hard truth is that if you haven’t got that burned out wreck of a PCB working after a single troubleshooting session, you never will.
Throw it in the garbage where it belongs.
PM sentI’d be down with finishing them up. I’m at the phase right now where I’m up for building anything and everything to see how they work and sound. Let me know a ballpark number you’d want if you want to unload them.

What, how do you get so lucky? All my builds have worked, mostly first time. Except that pesky Caesar which never quite worked properly and is now sitting waiting for me to get back to. It does sting a bit when I see everyone else's posts about how much they love their Caesars, but not so much that I want to buy another PCB and start again. If I do end up writing it off, I'll just harvest the worthwhile bits and send the rest to e-waste recyclers.
I only solder when I have repeatedly confirmed that I'm soldering the right thing in the right place. That ain't luck, it's OCD.What, how do you get so lucky?
How could you?I entice them into the gig-bag with fresh 9V-battery power. Then in turn gig-bag into the car and drive out of town.
After stopping in the Middle-of-Nowhere Woods, I get them out of the car and gig-bag, tell them it's an outdoor festival just down the path and to "wait behind this tree while I get some fresh batteries out of the car".
Then I drive away quickly, criss-crossing the logging roads so they can't follow the scent, and ...
this next bit is immensely mandatory, compulsory even ...
Never look back, not in the rear-view mirror nor side mirrors and not a turn of the head.
