What's a good clean (no fuzz) octave down for bass?

It’s taken directly from the input.

I'm trying to wrap my head around this before I wire it. Please humor me if this is dumb.

If the TIP (+) of the input jack is connected to the RING of the stereo output jack, what happens when you insert a mono instrument cable?

How would you stop the unaffected input from phase-canceling the output?

On the original units, the dry and effect outputs were separate jacks. If combining the dry and effect output into a single TRS jack, you’d need to have a buffer between the input and the ring of the combined output jack to avoid dumping the input to ground.

The effected output of the meatbox is in phase with the input I believe. If you add other things later and mix the dry, you’d have to account for that when mixing/summing.

Bump, 'cause there's great info in this thread and I'd forgotten ALL about it.

Re-reading the info about the Reissue Meatboxes, I want to check which reissue I have; Luckily I've got a Lectric-FX board and the IC from Small Bear...

More graphics suggestions for the "Fly" aspect of the OG Meatbox...
