What's for dinner?

Not today's meal, but future. This has been a crazy year in SoCal. My San Marzano tomato plant languished from March to September never grew taller than 7 inches. Then BOOM it grew four feet in two weeks. This is my tomato haul Christmas day 2024, and a picture of the size of this sucker!

Future pizzas!!!

(p.s. the wind blew the recycling can down last night and evenly distributed cans over the entire back yard. Thanks wind.... :cautious: )

Installment 3 of my baked potato adventure. I coat them in butter and salt and bake at 450 for 90 minutes. This gets the skin rock hard and crunchy and the insides nice and fluffy.

After that I split it down the middle, douse eith more butter, shredded swiss, shredded prosciutto and brie. Once assembled it goes under the broiler until caramelized.

Then a good dousing of hollandaise, cracked black pepper, and chives. It tastes like a really good potato version of a croque monsieur.
