What's in the mailbox? 📬 📦

What is it?
It’s a circuit that made for buddy’s contest. @Chuck D. Bones helped me with it. I did the circuit design though. It’s a fuzz face with high and lo pass filters. And it has 3 clipping option. GE/Mosfet/SI. 😃

The tone control is similar to a BMP tone control but since the filters are tied to the tone the tone control is a little stronger if that makes sense.

I’m going to be building it today to verify everything. I can already tell the holes for the Dpdt switch are to small they’re meant for the pcb pin version of a Dpdt. Not a big deal lol

Some vintage-repro phenolic boards and other stuff from amplified parts.
Boards:
-Hornby Skewes Treble Booster
-Hornby Skewes Shatterbox
-Vox Tonebender
-Tonebender MK3
-Marshall Supa Fuzz

And…
-some more Panasonic relays
-ic straightener tool
-ic extracter tweezers
Some G&H plugs
-eyelet striker and anvil
-white cliff 1/4” and 2.1mm jacks for my auditorium

They sent me a whole catalog of clamps 😍
They call me a poorly-fitting-glueup, because I can never have too many clamps.
If I had a dollar for every time I needed one more clamp than I readily had on hand, I could buy every clamp in the rockler catalog, but I’d still wind up having one of the clamps I need being occupied by another glue up, and so the cycle would continue forever.

I was wrong. It's not JUST clamps. There are so many things I didn't know I needed in here 🤩

I didn’t know I needed to build a $6,000 router table until I saw rockler’s cast iron tabletop, custom micro-adjustable router lift, dust collection, and all sorts of other rad router table accessories. Now my dreams are plagued with a lust for sawdust, and my days are burdened with a constant longing for the ability to fund my white 30,000rpm whale.

Look away- cast the catalog into the fires, lest it consume your soul and sanity, as it has mine

Some faceplate experiments came through today. Pretty happy with them, even if I did mis-measure the second row on the Dagg Drive.

Dagg Drive is a DRV derivative, I put the LED on the board but I don’t think I will in future because of the breakout design I used.

Speaking of breakout boards, I thought I was all nifty and smart, then saw the new design up on PPCB today! C’est la Vie!
