What's in the mailbox? 📬 📦

Yeah, it seems to be all good. You can’t use it independently so I don’t know what it sounds like on its own but it’s got lots of gain and it drives the wah really well. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a Hyperion type thing. It really cuts through and accentuates my already very high gain signal. No hiss or noise even when cranked.
I have the bass wah with the auto return feature, it’s really a nice feature.

I always hated chorus until I built a Madbean Pork Barrel in 2014. Had it on my board until I built a Julia clone last year. But I never used some of the features the Julia offers (anyone really hearing a difference in the waveform switch?) and I basically always set it to sound like a stock CE-2 anyway so when this pretty much brand new Boss CE-2w came up locally I couldn't say no. :)

No it's basically white and clear self adhesive glossy photo paper. You print your decal, pull off the backing like a sticker and stick it onto your enclosure. Then pour envirotex over the top. There's no mucking about with water but you have to be careful about placement cause you only really get one go.
I gotta look that up, thank you.

I've got the ones with matt white background and they work pretty well. Basically a sticker, for home use I wouldn't bother with envirotex. They are pretty convenient because you just print and apply. I haven't tried it on raw enclosures though, the adhesion may be less than perfect.

Here's an example:

They stick fine on raw Enclosures but I always cover them in resin. I wouldn't think they'd stand up very well on their own. Plus the envirotex makes them practically bullet proof and really makes the colours pop. I'll take some before and after pics when I do a pour tonight.

Decided to start collecting the Red Witch Seven Sisters ... had the Violet delay once upon a time and regretted parting with it ever since ... the concept is solid, micro pedals with minimal controls that run off rechargeable batteries. This one looks like YATS inside ...
