What's in the mailbox? 📬 📦

Got this stuff this week. Bought the empty cab and put a grill on it. I had an MOD 12/50 laying around from my 5E3 build. I was curious about a Soldano circuit, and all the reviews said this one is the closest of all the mini amps. Got it used for 119.

Essentially a SLO pedal and 30w power amp in the same box…really cool little amp for the price!
and since you built the lead solder overdrive, by using a switcher, give yourself multiple channels of SLO goodness!

Mailbox this weekend was full of a few new toys to rearrange my worship board…Said I’d never go big box strymon but the prices have really come down after the new reverb dropped… Got a big sky , Timeline and an expression pedal for the HX stomp in the mail today… Now to figure out where I want everything to go

What kinda sounds/captures do you use on the Tonex One's and how do you use them?

Apologies to the package-senders for my late post!

Received some fantastic utility pcbs from @Feral Feline and some fun pcb projects/components from @VanWhy recently! I had sent out some transistor labels to them, including the "fancy" sticker versions. Hope they worked out! I need to do some Diode ones too...

Also had it proved to me that you all DO indeed exist, as I met the incredibly personable @vigilante398 of Sushi Box in person! He played a show less than a block from my printmaking studio. Small world. He gave me some much-needed extra parts he had, and I made him a one-off screen print in silver, blue and orange ink on a busted LP. Oh, and a really dumb pick.

I am just so, so grateful for all of your help, expertise, and patience - it's rough to sound like a dopey beginner, even online! Everything I've been sent is truly appreciated and utilized, and I'll keep making labels as long as you all need them. If you haven't gotten any yet (or run out), please write me. Trades are always fun but not necessary!

And 3 one knob fuzzes.
Good haul for the $

Right on, I couldn't pass it up either. I got like 6 or 7 from the sale. Looking forward to building the Jocelyn Bell (EHX Pulsar)

Would love to see a rundown of your printshop! 100% screen printing, or a combination of print types?
I’ve taught at a Ravenswood (Chicago) art center for ages, and I also use it as my studio- thankfully there are enough gaps in programming that I can get plenty of work done! I focus on screen, but we do letterpress, etching, relief, and bookmaking too. It’s not technically MY studio alone, but since I’ve been there for so long I can print without having to rent space! Huge perk.

Yesterday, two of Fuzz Dog's Supersonic Fuzz Gun clone kits.

Today 2x Low Tide Mini boards.

Next week or so, 2x Lectric-FX Downtown kits + 2x Acapulco Gold clone boards, 2x Dod 250 Grey / Distortion X boards (on of them to be inserted after the parallel-running fuzz circuit, to infect the op-amp muff to taste.

Yeah, I only do dual. All these years of dealing with mono dirt, finally taking the step to self-build is like making up for lost potential all these years! Also, a Boss Dimension C (Waza) is on its way, to be dismantled and crammed inside the box with the two Low Tides (with order swich, if I can wrap my head around how to order switch two stereo pedals - that also have switched jack to split mono in case of no stereo source).

I have no patience / my brakes are dead. 🙈

Dual relay bypass is the best way to order switch stereo. But I'm tired and maybe wrong. Might need 2 of them?

@jwin615 Thanks! "dual relay bypass" is a thing that can move me forward in my searches... :) Not knowing what to search for seems to be the biggest hurdle that I need to overcome!

Edit: Google, notoriously working against us nowadays, through those words, actually knows what I want! Relay True Bypass Switching Part 1: Relay Basics and Stereo Guitar Pedals

Lesson learned: "Stereo effects with true bypass can be implemented using a mechanical 4PDT switch, but you have to leave out the LED in that case." - Ugh! Two of my builds have individual switches per board. But I was planning on doing my dual Mofeta and dual Fuzz Gun with one switch. More thinking to be done! - As I am sure there's a work-around to implementing a LED via convoluted means.

I think Robert has a stereo/dual bypass.
I can't remember if it's released but I think it is.
Would be a good post to poll the community though.
