I have a Tri-Vibe clone: the effects bakery whatever roll (yellow). It sounds great - similar to a ldr based vibe, but not quite. It does it's own thing, and well!Fuzzdog order came! Tri-Vibe, Mad Mule and Brain Bomb. They actually got here decently fast considering it came from outside the EU, took a week and a day.

Yes I know, your thread was literally the reason I ordered the PCB! Or more accurately, someone posted about it elsewhere and I liked the demos a lot, but I didn't know what it was based on before your post.I have a Tri-Vibe clone: the effects bakery whatever roll (yellow). I thought that was you who did that, but I wasn't sure. I can't keep things straight some days.Yes I know, your thread was literally the reason I ordered the PCB! Oh man I finally got to spend some time with this and it’s amazing.
Insanely fast mode detection. It’s compact but doesn’t feel awkward at all measuring through hole components.
Yup! You won’t regret it. I wish I had dug deeper a year ago when I almost bought miniware’s tweezers - I dug only enough to learn they were crap and to see the $350 alternatives that I couldn’t justify buying. 5 more minutes and I would have found out about these. I’ve already used these more since they showed up than I’ve used other measurement tools in weeks because of how easy they are to use.Is that the ST42-Lite? I'm going to have to give one of those a try.
Doesn't the AV7 operate at a lower voltage (150ish) and higher current?I loved the Vox Flat 4 Booster so much & this one came along on Gumtree ( Craigs List equivalent) so I grabbed it.
These are 9v Boss style power but run at 200 DC volts!
It had way too much Gain for me with the stock Vox 12AX7 so I grabbed a NOS RCA 12AV7!
I'm not crazy on their choice of Colour but it sounds Great!!!:
The Vox title was green also so I used a Gold paint pen!

vigilante398 confirmed that is not an issue with all the 12A_ 7 tubes being used.Doesn't the AV7 operate at a lower voltage (150ish) and higher current?
I'd keep an eye on the boost converter in the pedal and make sure it's not overheating.
First time posting in this thread—I love how much joy this hobby has brought me thus far!
I just put in an order for my first Dead End FX boards: Amnesia x2 (clone of ss/bs No Memory delay) and Zuperbee x1 (clone of ss/bs Buzzz fuzz). I'm a bit nervous about these builds only because I've heard the DEFX boards and build docs are not as straightforward as PedalPCB boards. We'll see how it goes though. I've completed a number of successful complex PCB, vero, and perf boards up to this point with only a few that I can't sort out.
In any case, both of these pedals sound absolutely insane, and I'm really looking forward to making some weird noises with them!
That's the spirit! As we say in Finland, put your chin to your chest and towards new disappointments!Hahaha, no doubt! I saw another user here had managed to fit the Amnesia in a 1590BB2 (and was even so kind as to share a Tayda drill template!), so I'm going to give that a shot. As for the Zuperbee, I'm going to take a look at that board when it arrives. It's hard to imagine that it's really so big as to require a 1590BBS, so I only ordered another 1590BB2 for it. At this point, I'm well versed in disappointment and surprise when it comes to making pedals, so it is what it is.![]()
