I picked up some more tapes off eBay. These are used 100's but the price was good so I figured why not?

The real bummer is that while these are used they are not labeled, so I don't know if I've got another Greensleeves hiding in here somewhere

Still no bulk eraser yet, though

Just know that it's advised by tascam not to use tapes longer than 90 minutes

Plural of chorus is simply "choruses", but I think it should be chori — especially when referring to pedals and not parts of songs.

They are so small when I saw the mailing packet I thought that can’t be 100.



hFE seems to be 100-200, with a bias towards the lower half of that range. Leakage is low. Very similar to GT310Bs.

For size comparison here’s a GT309B and GT310B next to a MP42B:

Love the portastudio. I used mine as a poor mans mellotron. I recorded a different chord for 20 minutes from my synth to each channel, used the faders to bring each one up. Used a ton of reverb for a dream like pad.

I had to go to see my doctor yesterday, which is in the town I grew up and went to college in. I stopped by the Guitar Center where I spent a good portion of my student loans just for the heck of it and decided to get myself some extra toys to play with while recording. I'm lacking in percussion instruments in general, so it's good to get these.

My five year old daughter is loving them, too

My latest tayda print had me chortling to myself this afternoon. The KTR-style disclaimer text is a little fainter than I'd hoped, but the absolute dumbness still makes me laugh. It says:

MK2. My 7th synth. Now I only need a digital all-rounder and I am set. Dreamed of this monster for years! Had initially hoped to buy the kit version of the MK1 with updated voice boards, but was too late for te party to get my hands on the pcb set. 10.000 soldering points would have been... Masochistic. Glad I saw the MK2 teased early as to fatten up my wallet, so I got around to buy one from the initial batch. Had mine put together with a black shift knob instead of yellow, because that's me (I might even swap the metal jack nuts with a black plastic ones). <3
