What's in the mailbox? 📬 📦

Nice mail day today! (And my TWO Tayda orders are arriving today yet....)

Been a while since I got a stack of PCB's from @Robert, hard to believe I used to do this every other week...haha.

I've been wanting to build the "Creamery" Compressor forever, now that @Robert has cornered the market on the v2159's I finally can!
Just PSA. Robert has these in stock.

I also HAD to get the mojo 2D503 diodes for the FWW Plus board. Took a quick peek......yah.....um.....they are REALLY REALLY different from 4148's....... :ROFLMAO:

And finally, some very very kind forum member, I shan't mention whom but he kinda resembles this.....

gifted me this......last thing in the world I expected! He knew I've been considering buying a noise gate. I'm still planning to build the Muzzle once I can get some of the processor modules. But man this was so cool! Thank you so much!

DOUBLE-WHAMMY DAY!

Our little Diva just had to get her nose in the shot.

Package 1) 📬
Lotsa Transistors and some super-coolio sticker-schwag from @benny_profane. Thank you, sir!
Very well boxed/packaged, and additionally: no hidden courier fees/duties/surcharges thanks to the power of going POSTAL!
Now the Moosapotamus 360 builds can begin.

Package 2) 📨
Also postal, arriving In the big black envelope came the long green thing. Finally pounced on this while it was on sale.
I would've thought the PCB should come between some pieces of stiff card-board or something to better protect it from the posties' sorting-machines etc., but it arrived unscathed as far as I can tell. I'll be hitting up @Hal Harvey and other amp-gurus for advice as time and money permit me to piece this one together.

GT120 time?? 👹👹👹 Awesome! I wish I had known, I would have sent you my unused PCB. Although in the end the PCB is a minor cost compared to the rest.

Do you think you’ll get the chassis too? It’s really well done, I’m pretty sure he used a an actual GT120 for dimensions.

Cheers! That would've been cool, very generous, but happy to have supported Hilbish, too.

Yeah, PCB was cheap enough. Can't afford the Chassis right at the moment, hence ordering just the PCB.
I'd like to get the chassis, it looks top-notch and your build is wicked-clean. Gotta save (up) some clams, but ...

Somehow this was both an impulse buy and a preorder. A patient impulse buy?

I’m so torn about getting the Behringer clones. I figured they make them at some point (and I would buy them) but it seemed like forever. In the mean time I bought the PastFX 101, it’s tiny and sounds awesome. They make a little Control Processor too.

Are you going to get all of them?

Haven't decided. The really dumb thing is I actually already have the original Moog MuRF.

I’m performing with my band at a private party. Today I got a few pieces of gear that will be part of that.

I have no stage lighting. But!- There are philips hue lights in the room. So I wrote some software that calls the hue api when it picks up MIDI commands. Basically, I control the lights in the room by switching patches on my pedalboard. It was pretty fun trying it out at our last practice. The code on GitHub only does random color changes right now:

ANYWAY, I decided I should use a hazer to make the most of it. My first piece of DMX gear:

Also, there’s three very different tunings I use for our music. So my K&M 3-guitar stand is a nice upgrade from using my cases.
