What's on the workbench?

That’s ALOT of wire.

I could be wrong, but I thought you wanted the shortest wire runs possible?

Maybe the blue wire is the toanz?

No SMD though as stated in the ad copy. Would’ve ruined it I’m sure.
SMD meant stripboard mounted deification in this instance.

Never judge a book pedal by its cover enclosure.
Nah, it's this one.

I knew ahead of time it was going to look like that.... but to be fair, it does sound great.

I used to think that my veroboard layouts and lots of wires are not suitable for professional use. Until now.
Anyway I will continue to use wires with different colors just to make my life debugging easier.

Hmmm..... It's been so long since I played with one of those I really can't compare...

I think this one has quite a bit more gain, but honestly I don't remember pedals I plugged in earlier this week and it's only Tuesday. 🤣
This is a prototype right? He's not really shipping these out in the wild like that?

I've seen three, they all looked like that.

It looks terrible but the PCB is about as secure as a Boss pedal when everything is put together...

With that said, I really really really don't want to trace this stripboard.

I don't mind goop, 4-layer PCBs, SMD components on both sides, caps with the values melted off...... but I really don't like stripboard. 🤣

Here's hoping these pedal builders are not listening in on this...
