What's your current headache?

You did the right thing. You absolutely did the right thing. Don't let people of that ilk get in your head, despite being that vile.

You're a stronger person than I am though, if they'd done that with me, things would've gone sideways fast and more than likely they would have to pull a size 13 shoe out of their ass and I probably would have ended up in handcuffs. And not the good kind of handcuffs...
I could write a one star Google review of her church?
Yeah, I would've been far less patient and or peaceful about that situation. Props for not losing your shit, @Pauleo1214 .
As much as I wanted to, going off on her verbally or physically would have fed into her victim narrative.

I am on Nextdoor as a social network and am strongly contemplating writing my experience (keeping her name out) and posting the photo of Henry.

Dropped a cheap Chinese condenser mic and it started making noise. Took it apart only to find the capsule is just floating at the end of it with foam. No room to mount it better. Took a few hours to figured out the noise. Sounds like a ground issue, but couldn't track in down. Tried resoldering points. Couldn't find the issue. Put it back together then with slight movement ,it intermittently stopped the noise. No clue. Makes me nervous knowing it has potential to move again to bring the noise back. Hate not being able to trouble shoot it. Looks like I'll be in the market for some upgraded pencil overhead mics soon.

Look at this crap...
What sort of mic is it? If it's a BM-800 type mic, you can actually do cool stuff with the body; I took it upon myself to build a Pimped Alice in a Neewer BM-800 donor body with some $10 Chinese capsule (getting the prescribed TSB-2555B capsule to me in Canada was unacceptably expensive so I went to eBay instead, still MUCH better than the original capsule) and it's actually a pretty nice mic!

I like that we're heading out of left field. Let's add sexy and confusing motorcycle mice to the mix.

That reminds me, I still need to get some mouse poison for the garage.

I managed to clean out all the poop and patch up the chewed wires in time to get out for the weekend. The old girl ran great and kept up with a pack of Ducatis for 200 miles through the White Mountains.

It was a small pencil mic called CAD. Not sure if they make them anymore. Some cheapo Amazon deal from years ago. The lack of mounting is terrible. If I had an extra shell casing I'd find a way. It's not a bad sounding mic actually.

Use traps, not poison - PLEASE!
Every poisoned mouse also kills an owl or raptor (hawk, eagle) or even a cat! The poison makes the mouse thirsty, so they run outside and then die, then the bird or cat eats them and it also dies. I wish mouse and rat poison was illegal because of this.

I feel like I've told this story here before so I'll keep it brief. A friend of mine bought a house in the country that had a few squatters. After a lengthy eviction process they put out rat poison when they moved out as a "favor." The smell of decaying rodent was unbelievable. He had to rip pretty much everything down to studs throughout half the house. He was planning to remodel and had worked some renovation money into his loan but he didn't budget for such drastic demo and replacement. He had to do soooo much work on that place before he could move in. I just assume the raptor population in the area plummeted for a few months after that.

There are poison options that don't pass through the same way as D-Con and some of those older types

If I had thought about it for a minute, I probably wouldn't have shared that. I do at least understand that it's a shameful thing to be putting into the ecosystem.

When I first moved in here I even used catch and release traps for a couple years. That progressed to various types of lethal traps. I've killed many hundreds of mice and chipmunks in 5 gallon buckets of water. Even resorted to carbon monoxide one time when I opened a toolbox drawer and found it filled with nesting material and pink hairless newborns. I sucked up the whole mess with a shop vac, then stuck the hose into my tailpipe for a while.

I've only resorted to poison one other time when I had a serious infestation and the shop was taking a lot of corrosion damage from everything getting pissed on. Unfortunately that stuff works really well so it was the first thing I thought of when I was very annoyed at this current batch of rodents.

I'll take your chastisement to heart and at least try some friendlier options.
