What's your current headache?

@Erik S - sorry if I came off harshly, that was not intended. But thanks for listening. I just love to see and hear the owls, hawks and osprey in the woods around my house. I live in a rural area and catch 1-2 dozen mice in my house/attic/basement every year. During warm times, I use a havahart trap and release them a mile away. But during winter season, they just starve when relocated, so I use standard Victor-style killing traps.

@Harry Klippton - thanks, it's good to see an environmentally better "poison".

Blew the spindle belt on the mower for my tractor last week. Got a belt at tractor supply a few days ago and had a chance to put it on. Turns out the belt in the sleeve listed as 78" was actually NINETY inches. Went back and returned it. Every belt I checked in adjacent sizes was wrong by a foot or more in either direction. I left without buying another one

Sorry you got boned by the big box. At least I finally got a tractor update.

Here’s a quick clip from this morning’s tractor show.

Main sewer pipe backed up last week, like it does every spring/summer. Got it rooted, but this time they found a hole 100 feet into the pipe, below the street in front of my house. Cost to put in a lining is very high. We've had a few plumbers out for estimates and they all agree it's a problem that should be addressed in the next ~2 years, but of course they're all likely to agree on that since it means work for them!

Current life curveball: My GF just went through surgery for colon cancer. She is one week post procedure, and moving around well. Fortunately I am on PTO and will ultimately be able to spend the first 10 days home with her, and her son is able to assist until my Mom comes down in two weeks.

Good prognosis, and will start chemo in about six weeks.

Pedal-wise? Eeeh, gotta place another Tayda order. Though its always fun filling the cart and adjusting drill templates.

I still need to complete repairs on my Carl Martin 120v compressor/limiter, and I have a late 70's Morley chrome big ass wah that needs some love!
Cool thing.. it has all the board traces for the fuzz circuit, but no parts. I might just need to perform an upgrade!

I had a Harley Benton guitar listed on Facebook Marketplace and described it in the text as a "Les Paul style guitar".

A week later... boom! Trademark infringment notice from Gibson and listing was taken down. Not that I was planning on it, but now I have even less interest in ever buying a Gibson.

Fuckin, call it a Paul Moore. That'll get em steaming.

My current headache...air to water heat pumps.

Just...goddammit. Nobody knows how to make these goddamned things. For fucks sake guys: can somebody just like...not accidently kneecap these things?
