What's your current headache?

Well imagine how I felt when my grandmother who had dementia amongst other health problems passed away 2 years ago and my mom and sister didn't tell me, but went to the funeral. After they dismissed my feelings now I'm not talking to them either. You don't get to pick your family 🙄
Not my headache but this reminds me of a friend who was raised by his grandparents because his actual parents were drug addicts. He came out when his grandfather had alzheimer's. He had "WHAT!?!?! YOU'RE GAY?!?!" printed on a t-shirt. The funniest part of that story is when he recants his grandfather asking why the hell he was wearing that.

I watched the debate last night.

My current headache is trying to reconcile our current reality with the fact there was a time when you could lose the presidency because you added an e at the end of potato or because your "YEAAAAH!," sounded funny.

I miss those days.

HHhhHHAAHAHAHAAAAHHHAA!:devilish:

I WILL NEVER LISTEN TO IT! NEVVVVVVERERRRRRRRERRRRR~!
At least, not intentionally — I can't control incidental exposure such as someone else's car radio playing it while I'm stuck next to them in a traffic jam.

The Rev 5 I bought earlier this year is definitely fucked up. I only just got around to really trying it out 😑 too many other current projects in the way to deal with it right now. Anybody found an extra 12 hours in the day yet?

Oh hey, I have a new headache today. We've been saving up and finally splurged for all new kitchen appliances that just got delivered Tuesday. Yesterday I come home from work to find that the brand freaking new fridge is 62 degrees inside and the freezer is 42 degrees. Power is on, the temperatures are set low, the "demo mode" is turned off, but the compressor is not even coming on and everything is just getting warmer. It's obviously under warranty, but repair won't get here until next Tuesday. I could get a replacement from where we bought it, but the soonest that could get here is Wednesday.

Headaches.

That sucks. When they delivered our new fridge they got it damaged so we had to send it back. Then our oven panel didn’t work and we had to send that back too. New appliances are great but also suck.

Fortunately our new range and dishwasher have been great, it's just been the fridge. My wife is at home doing triage on the affected food to see what needs to be thrown out and what we can fit in our garage fridge.

"Great but also suck" is accurate, I feel like once we get over a reasonable "burn-in" period they should be fine, but I never would have thought new appliances would be so hit-or-miss.
