I used to play in a hip hop group and one song's lyrics were all just food related violence. I only remember the chant during the hook which was "causin' crazy damage... with my sammich!"

"SANDO"?
I understand that language changes over time, but why must it be purposely dumbed down?
This is clearly the work of the Sand Witch...

F^@# YOU SAND WITCH!
.....and prepare for it to be the most mediocre USD$ 20 plate of your life, with drinks served in mason jars... Though admittedly I have them in my house because they are cheap, and I am a lazy fuck. Not beefing with sandos so much as I am beefing with every sandwich being called a sando in a cringey attempt to appear fashionable.
In Japan, sando makes sense. It’s a linguistic adaptation; shorthand derived from how “sandwich” fits into Japanese phonetics (sandowicchi -> sando). When you order a katsu sando, you are ordering a very specific cultural object.
But go to some Cafe with Edison light bulbs and you're not ordering a turkey club sandwich, you're ordering a turkey club sando. Or a breakfast egg sando on a English muffin. Heaven forbid they call an Italian Sub a sando.
Been there.Making a mistake when tracing a pedal.....

I was hoping nobody would bring sammich into this. These are both terrible options.Sammich > Sando
How did you think you made a mistake in the first place?
It's been several years since I traced it, the original was long gone and has since become scalper fodder, and it just logically didn't make any sense.
A couple quirky things that made me believe I had made a mistake... Two resistors in series with no connections in between, and another spot with a resistor in series with two in parallel, no external connections between them. Since both could have been replaced with a single equivalent resistor I started to second guess myself, especially the useless "Y" branch.
After tracing the pedal it was originally based on I now see both are the result of carelessly / blindly replacing a potentiometer with a fixed resistor and replacing a toggle switch with a trace, leaving the switched resistors in place. In both cases a single equivalent resistor would have made more sense.
Any time I come across this type of foolishness I doubt myself, not the designer, and that was the mistake this time.![]()

So after getting the TeXtEdit problem sorted (much thanks to Falco_Femoralis)...
This past week my Mac's been running out of juice rather quickly — either planned obsolescence is rearing its ugly head, and/or there's some malware clacking away in the background — need to have my computer scanned. However, beyond that the real current headache is:
WHAT's MOST ANNOYING IS SOME RANDOM YOUTUBE CHANNEL PLAYING IN THE BACKGROUND WHEN I DON'T HAVE ANY YOUTUBE WINDOWS OPEN. The best I can do is hit F10 (MUTE). I've looked, searched, spelunked, and there is no youtube window open, yet a video or advert starts up of its own accord, randomly, fully hidden from view so I can't stop it. When it's done, I can unmute and watch other vids in windows I've opened, but there's always the possibility of the phantom-vid channel starting up in the middle of whatever I'm watching.
In addition to MUTE, I've been turning off WiFi, but the $%^&* phantom starts right up where it left off when I reconnect to wifi...
