Where to wire battery clip?

Building a Kliche. I do not have a three prong 1/4 jack or a three prong dc jack. Where is an alternative place to wire the positive and negative wires of a battery clip in this situation. Can I just connect to the positive and negative of the dc jacks or will this cause some issues? Also what’s the best practice for keeping the 9v battery from jiggling around when boxed up or does the pcb hold it in pretty good?

It seems I may have to order a stereo jack. Sounds like if I don’t the battery will just constantly drain out.

The three pronged DC jacks are switched so that when you plug in a power supply the battery cuts out, so I do think you would kill a lot of batteries wiring it up that way. Not sure if it would cause other issues.
