Yeah, the subminis don't have pins but legs instead. It's a weird quirk. Sub Minis were made specifically for military applications where high security and high vibrational tolerance was key. I guess the legs just made soldering them into equipment easier or something?

So what are you doing with them?

Hopefully some full preamps, like an AB763 circuit, JCM800 preamp etc. Maybe a tube DI, and boost pedal. I have 6n16B, 6n17b, and 6n21b to mess around with. I'll most likely use @vigilante398 high voltage nixie circuit for the voltage supply. Need to figure out the differences in impedances and gain though as these aren't direct drop ins for 12AU7, 12AX7 etc, but they are pretty close.

I'm also really heavy into the NAM capturing world, so part of my plan is to build stuff with a tone circuit bypass so I can make various captures without the tone circuit engaged.
