CONTEST
No...but I have some in my cart at Mouser :D I'm going to breadboard as many entries as possible, but trying to keep up with @BuddytheReow is futile, so some will have to be at a later date. Btw, I may be sending you a few components in the event you don't have them. I think I have everything ordered.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a free program to draw schematics, maybe one that has a big muff available as a base template? (I'm searching the web now, but figured I might get a faster response here)

The free version of DipTrace is excellent. You'll probably find more folks using Eagle but it makes my skin crawl.

There are probably some easier programs out there as well, but I figure once you figure it out you're equipped for pretty much anything.

I've been using TinyCAD for my schematics. Free, easy to use, but does not come with a router. DIPTrace is a little harder to use, but has an integrated router. If you're going to design boards, then DIPTrace is your best option, and the hobbyist version is free. If all you want to do is draw schematics, then TinyCAD is a better choice IMHO. You can find support for either tool on these (and other) forums.

Not exactly. The "programming" is done by employing particular resistor values to adjust the operating point. There are programmable op amps as well.
Maybe a better way to put it, an EEPROM is programmed digitally, but a unijunction is programmed electro-mechanically.
