The Powder Room

I planned on keeping this quiet until it was closer to time but I think it'd be more productive to document the progress, just so we know the exact moment when all went wrong. Also I'm sure there are folks here who are far more experienced than me and can chime in with advice and criticism.

I'm in the process of converting the old BuGGFX Mobile Workshop into a powdercoating room.

The inside is a mess, we'll save the interior pics for later.

Ground rod is in. Of course I decided to start doing outside labor when the temperature is regularly above 100F.

That looks like a giant cauldron of ball soup and swamp ass in July ... in Georgia

I remember that, I don't see it at PPP so it must have been Mammoth.

Prismatic has Super Rootbeer, Ultra Rootbeer, and Lazer Rootbeer. (There's a couple others but those have the most sparkle)

It is brutal. When it rains it just gets steamy and hotter.

I went up to Michigan in March and thought "Oh there is absolutely no way I can live in this" .... but I tell ya .... this past month has me rethinking that. :ROFLMAO:

I'm not a huge fan of Midwest winters, but I spent a couple days in Atlanta for work in August, and that was an interesting experience. I never knew you could actually drink air.

I'm in south Georgia, Atlanta is "the north" to us. They get like, snow and stuff. :ROFLMAO:

Our winters are freezing and our summers are scorching... there is rarely any in-between.

Although this past year we only had like 3 days of winter. My son was playing outside in the water hose on Christmas day.

(That's right... Merry Christmas son, Santa stopped by and turned on the water for you) :ROFLMAO:

It gets plenty hot here but I found a NYC heatwave the worst heat I've experienced in some time. That humidity just kills you. Here it gets to well over a hundred but it's rarely humid. I had a job up north a few years ago in summer and it was 46C in the shade. But half the time I wasn't in the shade. The guys working there (mine site) didn't bother putting water in their 4-litre insulated water bottles - they just filled them with ice. It was water soon enough.

Mr PCB if you're gonna get into powder coating you'll have to get used to multi-coloured hair. All the guys at my local powder coaters get covered in all sorts of colours of powder. I'm thinking of getting my head done in hair-colour powder coat. Metal-flake maybe?

This is not a negative. My hair has been every color you can imagine at some point in time. (years ago, I'd just look like a damned fool who hasn't accepted his age now)

The heat island effect of NYC or even smaller sized cities around here makes it that much worse. I always enjoyed the part of my commute in the summer where I'd get out of Hartford and the Connecticut river valley onto the other side of the ridge and felt the temp drop like ten degrees

Himself. Ouch.

I mean I guess, I haven't personally checked.

On that note, first person to get a Fig Labs tattoo gets a $100 gift card. $200 if you include PedalPCB. :ROFLMAO:
(No, seriously)
talk about a break-even situation unless you're getting free work done
