NGD!!!! Epiphone Casino

I have a good friend that collects Calton cases.....he's got more of them than his high end acoustics. I had a couple of Caltons when I was flying with my expensive acoustics back in the day and it was pretty cool to be able check your guitar case into luggage with a $6k Collings in it. Those things are indestructible.

But these days, since I build more guitars than I buy, and since I NEVER play outside of the house (except virtually on Youtube :ROFLMAO: )
AND since I live in Florida where the relative humidity keeps all my guitars nice and happy hanging on the walls of my office, I don't sweat cases anymore. More trouble to find a place to store them. Now guitar shipping boxes, that's another story, I have a crap ton of them up in my attic because I KNOW how fickle I am.....and likely to rotate out my whole current collection in horse trading within a few years. Heh.
In 22 years of guitar playing i have only sold 3 guitars and still only own 12ish. I am way too sentimental with my gear.

Found a real steal on those….

I got a Casino a few months back - I am guessing mine cost more because its one of the USA built ones but I absolutely love it. The neck pickup does beautiful smokey jazz /blues tones and the bridge pickup snarls and twangs. I find Casinos and 335s to be some of the most comfortable lounge guitars ever. They don't slide around like a Strat does.

That is a sweet guitar... I was looking at the olive drabs when I picked up my ES... but ultimately decided on the more traditional wood finish... though I may still pick up one of the OD finishes one of these days... they're just so dang cool...

Wow great looking guitar I’ve been wanting a casino/335 style guitar for a while now. I also just saw the new squire tele baritones with p90s so I’m at a real crossroads!!

Wow great score and excellent colour. I've always wanted a casino but have never had the right one pop up for sale whenever I've had the money.

I know that strat slide all too well, the casino is really nice for being loud enough to irritate my wife but quiet enough to not totally piss her off while she watches tv.

I was on the waitlist for a PureSalem Urge baritone for 11 months before I finally just asked for my money back. Now that you told me that Squire has something out I will be scoping that out…. Just what I needed.

Coincidentally I stumbled across that site yesterday while looking for a pic of a pedal...

EQD Disaster Transport Sr for $68.72, obviously not legit but I was curious.

Judging by reviews for the site you get nothing, nothing at all.
I mean, I’m all about a good laugh on me but that’s like aiming for your thumb with a hammer.

They look stunning and Andertons has a video with them. I also was looking at danelectro baritone semi hollow. Maybe I can scratch my hollow body and baritone itch all at once

Did you get one of the most watched from Reverb?

Nope I ordered from Sweetwater and waited for five months.

Checking that out now, i love those danelectros.
I can't stress enough how much everyone should drop whatever it is they are doing at the moment and go get a baritone. Go. Go now. Hurry.
Just to play sentry the defiant from Coheed would be worth it to me.

Oh, it was already posted in "What's in the mailbox" ( https://forum.pedalpcb.com/threads/whats-in-the-mailbox-📬-📦.12436/page-36#post-139635 )

Wow. That is gorgeous!

I got a '59 RI 335 a year or so back - bought it online used just before all the prices started to go crazy so it was a crazy deal by today's standards. It's a VOS in vintage Sunburst and it's the best 335 I've owned - and I've owned a few! This one is the keeper. The odd thing about the '59 style is that the bridge pickup is completely enclosed with just a little round hole to poke the wire through, so it sounds a bit more solid body than the regular 335s as Fingolfen has. His has (I reckon) a big space in the centre block that you could access the pickup through. That leads the guitar to have a slightly woodier, more hollowbody sound to it which I really like. In general I think I prefer the tone of 335s like Fingolfen's but my '59 style is still my favourite. :)
