Do you have one with JM pickups? Sounds like a need to me.

No I don't, only P90's. But I was listening to a demo of a Cabronita with the JM pickups and loved how it sounded. I'm thinking I need one with JM pups and also one with Filtertrons. The Tele format just fits me like a glove and those are all different enough sounds to warrant a dedicated guitar.

T'would be a lot of routing though, although I'm getting a bit more confident with that. I'm very happy with the quality of the GuitarFetish XGP bodies. I could do both of the above with their Filtertron route bodies then over-route them and then glue a piece of mahogany shims for the JM pickups.

I just heard one by accident and immediately ran to the Fender site. I .... yeah ... now that is something I don't have.

Baritones can be in a variety of scale lengths but 27" is a common one. Which is what the CV Tele Bari is. It's tuned B to B.

Do you ever listen to Pat Metheny? He's got a custom acoustic baritone made by Linda Manzer that he strings in a quasi-nashville tuning.
(Middle strings are high). His whole album "One Quiet Night" is all recorded on that guitar. Some interesting chord voicings (even for Metheny)

It'll go in the workshop so my LP can be relieved of it's duties. It has served well.

My only criticism is that you didn't ship that tele to my place. You had my address and everything.

actually the checkout function fails on my ipad, thinkthat site hates apple products.....fender is also shipping for free.... I'm repainting it 50seconds after Iget it apart. I wanted a white 1 but those aren't under the discount right now...for those reading this is 2 good ways to get a decent guitar, if a part bugs ya just replace it eventually.

The CV tele is playable out of the box and sounds pretty darn good. But a few minor tweaks can make it play GREAT

Yep, Those 3 standard barrels are Never intonated right!
