What's in the mailbox? 📬 📦

So i had bought tools from stewmac i figured its a lifetime investment why not? But for components that shipping IS a little ridiculous. 😳
I also picked up a couple sets of the 3/8" tuner conversion bushings. I figure there's always going to be another Tele or Strat build in my future hahaha

One of the first pedals I built was a StewMac delay kit. I threw that bad boy together like a 6-yr old with legos. Still use it too. The other day I yanked the PT2399 from it because I found some weird PT2399-Ds (lower memory ~20k) and wanted to see what kind of noise/saturation might happen.

Its funny that you say that my first build WAS going to be the klon they have for my birthday it was supposed to be my first build to set me on my journey! My bday came and they were sold out! Went to jeds peds bought my first 2 kits then came here to this amazing place and the rest is history!

Actually shipping for one chip from Smallbear isn't too bad, like $5. Compared to AmplifiedParts (or StewMac) where a single resistor costs $11 to ship hahahah
I can find a few European sites with mn3007 but the only one which seems to be US based that I haven't seen mentioned it this one. Don't know anything about this seller though.

Thanks for the heads up! These guys are legit. Always had good service from them.

At least they're legit. I'm bored in a doctors waiting area and saw your post so thought I'd have a look to see what I could find.

There's nothing wrong by the way just a routine health check which I'm stupidly early for.
That’s not a bad thing….

well what the heck, it did not come up in searches for me.

I had the same experience with SynthCube/Small Bear a number of times.

If you're on SynthCube and search through its Small Bear portal that you know is in stock on Small Bear, the search engine may not find it. Can't remember what it was, but the reverse also happened. Searching Small Bear for a tube of LM13600 ICs, nada, but it came up on SynthCube, luckily I was able to order the tube before they were all gone.

It wasn't that I mistyped, I tried a variety of times with different keywords — get the search string right and stuff would come up.
(Can't find the tube-of-LM13600 listing now at all.)

PS: What's "AES" again?

I didn't even attempt a text search, I wen through the categories and clicked on the sub-heading for BBD's, like my finding the SBP trimmers, the 1 time I had already had a couple enclosures in the cart and before going to Digi-Key or Mouser I decided to see what ELSE they had...
back on topic, only the local junk paper today, the adverts for stores and jobs nobody wants or can 'qualify' to get.

I'm not sure on how long those would live but I get a feeling they were cut off either A> the tape reel(hopefully) or B> slavaged from old devices...

same physical address and inventory, just diff web store names for people working on different stuff. like how some sites will add this long text string at the very bottom of a page to give search engines something to grab on.

Thanks guys, I've been to both sites in the past and realised they're one and the same, it's just been so long since I went to Antique Electronics Supply. 😸

Those short-leg J201s are Jes De Ting! No cut, no fuss, just pop'm in the sockets as is.
