What's in the mailbox? 📬 📦

Nothing too exciting, not that this was an inexpensive order... I'm making a passthru box with 2 expression jacks, a switcher for my meatboxes 2 signals, I decided to make my trs cables extra obvious with black plugs and red mogami goodness. A little nod to my local NBA team, the Trailblazers. I was a huge Clyde Drexler fan.

Surprise efficiency from Australia Post: ordered 23 Nov, delivered 23 Dec.

Lil Green Scream Machine (so I can join in @fig 's TS competition)
Modus Operandi Boost (mainly on @MichaelW 's recommendation)

I still haven't made the other two PCBs I've had for weeks now... and this summer's first heatwave will hit after Xmas so I won't be soldering then. Oh well, eventually you'll see some new build reports from moi.

He’s been battling cancer so I assume everything has slowed down if not stopped entirely. Let’s wish him to recover!

I’ve heard that and absolutely hope for the best! I’ve read a few people have offered to help him process orders or update the site at least. At some point he needs to make some changes to the site. If you search his company name, most results are asking if he’s still in operation. Hope he pulls through.

I heard there are some latency issues, which a firmware update can fix some. Chass Bliss just put out a how-to YouTube video about it.

If have a Batch 2 pedal, it has already been updated, according to them.
Latency because it’s not analog dry through?

Appears to be a perceived double-tracking on short percussive sounds like drums. It is based on the pedal being set to be kind of chorus-y. The firmware update tightens up the delay and brings it more like a flanger. The video I linked has a link in the description to a Chase Bliss page about the "issue". I can't find the review video that brought it to my attention in the first place.
