Wondering if anyone's used this? I need solder right MEOW, and it's the only local place that carries something suitable.

I usually use Kester 24-6337-8800, but my order won't be here until Monday at the earliest

No, but what could possibly go wrong?

One time I accidentally got lead-free solder, didn't realize it and kinda freaked out like that

Got through two boards and couldn't figure out why all of my joints looked so damned shitty. Cleaned and changed tips, changes temps, busted out the flux pens- nothin.. Inspected the roll a lil closer... "oh.... oooohhh":ROFLMAO:

The little carton it came in didn't mention lead free, and it looked like the stuff I normally grabbed at quick glance. Luckily, both circuits worked fine

I did the same damn thing! Man that stuff is stiff.....

I use lead-free solder all the time, and have never had an issue…
I've used it a bunch, too (worked in an electronics plant serving mostly medical oriented contracts). Just not when working on pedals, so it was confusing. I've no issues with it, but the crusty look was rather jarring
