Love the mat, I desperately need to get one. I’ve basically destroyed 2 different desk tops now.

Ikea sells cutting mats in 3 packs for next to nothing. I just bought a few and covered my desk with them. The mat is probably a better choice but I don't think I have enough space for it sadly.

My MKI sometimes makes rumbling noises. This thing has a life of its own. And the trannies aren't particularly leaky either.

I have another one on a breadboard with super leaky Germaniums and this thing is twice as loud and bright but half the time it just oscillates like crazy. What a wild beast!

Absolutely all of my guitar playing is when she's sleeping, or supposed to be. Currently trying to get her into watching mom practice drums so we can eventually go back to jamming
