What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

I use black sand texture a lot so good to know it's possible to remove the ink. Of course it's best to remove it immediately after stamping.
Yep. Acetone also makes short work of it, if needed, but I'm not sure how the Tayda powder coat would react to that

Nice. Next time try a C1k for Fuzz. It allows you to fine tune the amount of fuzz at the end of the sweep to find that sweet spot where it cleans up completely but it still has sustain when the guitar is maxed out.

Maybe you knew this already, wasn't trying to show off or anything :)
Good idea- I’ll try that!

Super sexy washers and those lights. What are those? Flat LEDs?

The washers are "serrated spring washers"

The lights are marbles.

I've been spamming other threads on the forum for the past month on my challenges getting them to work and sourcing just the right stones. I'm a bit obsessive compulsive apparently.

Here are a few photos. None of them show completely the recipe I've finally settled upon, but I am more than happy to share my secrets if you want more info.

In the Sushi Box pedal at the end the marble is underneath a patch of translucent velum that really creates the coolest part of the effect.

Really cool. No need to share your secrets! I wouldn't want to copy you anyway, it's your thing :)

Those tuning keys remind me of some that came on some of 80's Peavey basses. Overall that is one slick looking thumper.
Yep, the pickup is Peavey T-40 inspired, and he specifically asked for a Stingray-ish feel for the preamps. The Bass/LPF one especially seems to throw that vibe.

He wanted the preamps to "look" like stingrays, or "sound" like stingrays. Either way, nice choice!
Yeah, a bit of both I reckon. The Bass/LPF one is just in a test box for now until we see if he wants to run with that format. Doing bass in an isolated stage by itself was a bit of a revelation, it really opens up some cool tuning possibilities.

I'm only seeing 10 build reports. What gives?

I've only got two left to do, but I'm tired, boss.

Also, they're both kinda boring - Cold Turkey and Frequency Interchange Filter. I'll give them another shot once my hands loosen back up
I've been working in batches of 4 lately but time is hard to come by so it's usually build them, wait a couple weeks and box them up and start the cycle again a few weeks later. I'd never drop 20 at once though😮‍💨
