More groovy gear that will not improve my playing any anyway, but that's how I roll..

'56 Quiet coils by NC's very own Mojotone. I plan to take them for a spin in that "goofy" (@MichaelW) LP double cutaway yet to arrive. I'll also be testing those $*%&#$ robotic tuners before replacing them with more sensible machine heads.

I grabbed some of these solid e-caps from AliExpress -- LINK HERE --

Test results are as advertised. I have some more coming from a different seller, but probably the same thing. I saw somewhere in the feedback for these things that someone cut one open and confirmed that they are what they're supposed to be.

I'll be using a couple of the 22µF ones in a pedal within the next few days.

This fuzzdog shipment arrived and I discovered a ppcb package had fallen behind the couch some time ago. I could've had this cordyceps and eq, anyone stuffed days ago. Doesn't matter though, I was out of 10k resistors and 4558s anyway.

The fuzzdog boards are @Betty Wont 's fault. Going to get all ruiner-y up in here.

the Ruiner/Devine Hammer/Hyperion I can vouch for heartily! The hellgazer II I think has a flaw in the TP side. The two I made did not behave correctly. I did not include the order selector.

I have a cone ripper board laying around that I changed over to a US after our chat that I'll combine with a ruiner, perhaps parallel using a buffnblend. I figured why not do the hellgazer as a US/SM combo. I'm not sure what those additional switches will do to the US, haven't thought it through that far yet. Might also skip that 4pdt....

I like that combo. One toggle on the tp side just switches a pair of resistors. That resistor is a different third value in the US. That switch can be jumpered and omitted if making the us. Or experimented with. The second switch on the tp side is something fuzzdog made up. A feedback loop or something. It doesn’t work correct in either setting. That’s what i suspect is “wrong” with that side.

A second set (un-ordered) of "Meta Morph" & "Andamento" PCBs from DeadEndFX. Guess I need to flip 'em a few zorkmids to cover the cost. I didn't ask for the second set of boards. They just showed up a week after the original order was fulfilled.
