Wawa is a "fancy" gas station in the Northeast USA. Kirk Hammett is the King of Wah.
It's not fancy. It's a place to get a passable Italian hoagie and a case of Rolling Rock or Yuengling (depending on your location in Pennsyltucky). Heaven forbid you eat an Altoona pizza.

If you don't want to read about it's history, it's a deep dish pizza topped with tomato sauce, green bell pepper, salami of some kind and American cheese or Velveeta.

Juhheebus... that is the worst looking pizza I've ever seen. Granted I hate green peppers but those are the least of my concern with this atrocity. Seriously though, if it's green and not spicy, WHY EAT IT?

Spray cheese would've at least been prettier.

There is something highly unnerving about cheese with stretch marks. I guess that appeals to some people.

That SOUNDS fancy! :ROFLMAO:
Velveeta IS gourmet!

Seriously tho... can that be called "pizza" anymore... Just crap on bread now.

wtf is wrong with Pennsylvania... Have you seen the One Bite Reviews done in Pennsylvania?

Don't take this the wrong way - I am a big fan of many aspects of American culture. Some amazing music comes out of the USA. Great guitars, amps, some incredible people, I have been there many times. But American food? Wow. I have eaten well in some places - New Orleans was my favourite, and I have had great meals in San Fran and NYC too. But some of the stuff which passes for food in the USA would be illegal where I live! I remember being able to get a great hamburger in NY many years ago, but now they're all just mush. Too much sauce and no fight in the bread.

For food I go to Europe and Asia. For music I go to Europe and the USA, Australia and New Zealand.

When my son was younger we went to a supermarket in Lake Placid. We love visiting supermarkets wherever we go because they can tell you a lot about a place. Well everything in this Lake Placid supermarket was huge! We'd never seen anything like it. Could you get a snack size, um, snack? NOOOO!!! The smallest packet of chips or Cheetohs was the size of a king size pillow. I've never seen packets so huge. Bottles of soda we would probably call barrels back home. We wanted to get some chips for our son but the smallest packet was a life-time supply. We were travelling so it would have been excess baggage. No wonder you guys need such big houses. You need them if you have more than one flavour of anything!

You are exactly right. Honestly, it seems to be a downward spiral here, getting worse as the years go by.

I wish we would have a higher regard for quality food. Just go to McDonald's in another country (Korea for me) and you'll be amazed how much better it tastes.

When I was in Minnesota back in the 00's I went to a hole in the wall where I was told they had good tacos. It was over a half a pound of ground beef mixed with ketchup on a raw tortilla.

Oh gag me with a spoon, I live in the S.F. Valley where some of the finest mexican cuisine can be had. I went up to the chef (the owner) and asked if I could teach her how to cook a taco. She looked like her feeling were hurt but let me. Problem solved.

And if you want a good burger you need to try the Double Double at In and Out Burger. OMG....
