Naaaa, metal is either on or off, there is no in between.I'm thinking about doing 2 volumes and a bass contour. I'm also trying to decide if I'm going to put in a treble bleed or not

I forgot to respond to this: the main problem with that is that I usually rely on the bolts to hold the faceplate on the enclosure so I don't have to glue it on or something... Also I am not sold on the clear acrylic, it feels a bit cheesyIf you make all the relevant holes big enough to accommodate the nuts it can work. Love where you‘re going with this in any case!
On my current tube amp build I just drilled and tapped a few #4 cap head screws to hold the laser etched wood fascia plate on. But yeah, I'm not a real big fan of plastic on anything to do with MI gear cosmetics, in general.I forgot to respond to this: the main problem with that is that I usually rely on the bolts to hold the faceplate on the enclosure so I don't have to glue it on or something... Hot-knifing with a respirator is really harsh on the lungs, you should use chilled water in a bong — or at least cut up a plastic bottle and pack it with ice ...I had to use a hot knife (and a respirator) to get the last of the old bushings out

In my second year of college at my first rental after dorm life, I came home to find my roommates boyfriend doing this with the butter knives I had just purchased for you know... butter. And then we spent the year perpetually short on clean butter knives. He also turned my bread machine into a gravity bong. It saw a LOT more use in its second life.Hot-knifing with a respirator is really harsh on the lungs, you should use chilled water in a bong — or at least cut up a plastic bottle and pack it with ice ...
