What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

I would love to do a beige colored enclosure. You got it. With the next order of powders I’ve made a note to get some kind of beige. Is there a specific beige you think I should look for?
Go for a greyer beige, or vintage-VW Sea-sand Beige.

Personally, I hate beige due to the vast majority of computers produced. 🤮

A Fontana Grey is nice, though.

That could be cool. I think you should maybe shoot a full enclosure the other color and try the base out on the beige first to test it.

Do you use prisma powders? I didn’t have anything in mind, but I could take a look. I’m thinking “eighties computers and peripherals.”
Yes I use prismatic powders but I would be open to other sources. I have looked at Tiger coatings and they have a few interesting colors as well.

Feel free to DM me any ideas of colors you might think will look good!

Btw sorry for the late response I’m in the middle of powder coating as we speak!

Finished my prototype bridge in machining class last night and found some longer saddle adjustment screws at the hardware store- now it's assembly time!

There's certainly room for improvement regarding some of the dogshit surface finishes I left, but like I said- 'prototype.'

I finally have something on the workbench again... the fear of having to actually play a demo soon. I just have pots and off board wiring to do on the BYOC Echo Royal to make it functional. Still have some rattle can work and enclosure art to do, but that doesn't need to be done before I regale @Harry Klippton with my best noodling.

Feels good to be back at it.
