Did Santa bring you something cool show off your Santa haul :)

I got a Phish Couch Tour shirt, three records (all requested by me, specifically): Giant Steps (non-red/green label…my copy is from 1976), Remain in Light, and 1000 Hurts…

I also got a Monoprice SD-6 clone. Every Xmas/birthday my wife buys me a random pedal on Amazon, based solely on appearance. “Ooh, that’s a pretty green…” or “I LOVE these knobs.” It’s a fun tradition….though I do now have 2 different versions of a Foxx Tone Machine…

My best friend and I always build each other pedals. I haven’t even put the Tayda order in yet, though. I’m building him a Kliche Mini SE, done up like a KTR. I’m pretty sure he won’t see this, so I’m good…
 
Got a Diamond Memory Lane and Line 6 HX One today. The HX One is pretty good - I'm sensitive to tone suck in a quiet home studio, however, and this has it when the DSP path is engaged. I've sold some other Helix gear in the past because of it.

The Memory Lane is nice, but so far not blowing me away. I wanted a tap tempo delay pedal w/ top jacks to match up with my DIY builds.
 
I dig Phish in moderation. I play the 2000 NYE show a phew times a year and my good friend loves them immensely, so I hear some good recordings from time to time. 👍🏼

Everyone on my wife’s side gave me Menards gift cards, so I have about $300 to spend there for my next project or whatever. My wife did get me a DCA75, but it’s still in the mail for some reason-
So I Iook forward to that!

Playing at volume is about the best present you can have if you don't get to do it regularly. Everything changes and everything is better.

I had some issues with tone suck with helix devices too but found if I properly matched the input and output volumes they're as transparent as any analog dry through pedal I have. I tested it with an A/B box so I could switch the Helix in and out of the signal chain.
