What's in the mailbox? 📬 📦

Not a mailbox per se, but I brought some more stuff back from my trip back home..

A pair of old Boss boys.. got to love the HM-2 Dist knob.

And an old amp comes back into rotation. This was a Carvin Legacy 2x12 combo which was waaay too heavy to take back on the plane. So I took out the speakers and sawed it in half like the savage I am. You haven't seen a rougher head outside that night with he/she who will not be named. Sounds great though!

Don't worry, I will get a grill back on there and make it look nicer at some stage.

New power supply here. It's not bad when it comes to noise levels. A bit of switching noise is visible, but nothing catastrophic.
I did a comparison with a linear 9V and 18V power supply. I can post some oscilloscope shots if anyone is interested.

And.... sample book of 0402 resistors.. waiting for the 0402 caps :)

I'd been looking for some leaky PNP transistors for some fuzzes, and scored the deal of a lifetime on a lot of 56 Motorola 2N2043's. All of them tested well on the DCA55—hFE ranged from 63 to 130, with an average of 90, and leakage ranged from 128 to 472 µA, with an average of 244 µA. Only one had leakage over 325 µA. Looking forward to building some more old school fuzzes!

The order also came with an unexpected bonus, a Motorola house number silicon NPN in a TO-5 package with the perfect specs for a 'bone fuzz.

Any chance there's more where those came from?

First compressor board I've ever bought. This one seemed the most interesting, and I've been wanting a parametric EQ to fuck with, so two birds and all that. Another Altered State to fw. The Karaoke Chorus because I'm on a kick of trying out all the earlier modulation circuits, and a Blood Stone, because I miss the last one I built and I love me a six stage

Some staples, and new arrivals. Haven't heard either of the K-On Drivers, but the schematics looked like the could sound pretty cool.
Threw a couple XC boards in to help complete my PhaserDex.
And, the Kewpie. All the demos of this thing have gotten me excited, and that's a hard thing for a transistor Muff to do. I was wanting to build a variant anyway after binge listening to to a bunch of Whores. so figured this'd be a good place to start
