I had to make it myself... It has definitely seen some use and saved me a lot of time.
Imagine you're tracing a PCB, you have a pad that you know connects somewhere else but you can't visually follow the trace. You could sit there and poke around all over the board looking for continuity, but that involves probing every single point on the entire board and can be very time consuming with complex circuits.....
Or, you can just swap out your positive DMM lead with the brush probe and brush across the entire board in a few seconds. When you get a hit you've narrowed the hunt down to a small area. Swap back to your standard DMM lead and continue on.

I switched to a 245 style iron just because these tips looked so good and I’m not looking back. They heat up to 325 in 3 seconds its insane
