My most common annoyance is building a pedal and not liking it

I just soldered up a 1/4" plug. And of course I forgot to run the cabling through it first. Doh!

I hate offboard wiring LED's. Taking the LED, bending the lead, soldering a wire on, doing the same to the other side, adding heat shrink... its a pain!

Off board wiring LED’s is high on my list too.
As is sanding enclosures.
I like the look of bare, smooth, shiny silver enclosures. And when I sand them, I do three or four at a time. Outside, with a mask on. After putting on the headphones, choosing some tunes, and smoking a joint of course.
When that task is done, I don’t feel annoyed anymore.

Skip the heat shrink. Also do you have a little flush bender like this?

It makes doing little wire loops to solder your wire to easy and consistent.

Good to know this is to be expected only occasionally. There's plenty of insufferable boards where one has to dig trenches through the mud to find facts, which are unworthy of input (read: being joined) from my side. I can't help but getting pissed off because of such time-wasting. A few likes for those "heroes without capes," setting things straight here is therefor wholly appropriate!!

Yes. I'm lucky in that I have a local shop that sells resistors, diodes, caps, etc. and another that has jacks, but if you forgot to order a certain part...
