The only cassette deck I have is the 424. I don't actually have a stereo deck since I don't mixdown to tape. I am looking for one, but I'm in no hurry.

I'm considering dragging home a 4 track Reel to Reel deck that's at my Aunt's place, and I was trying to figure out if I could play commercial tapes on it. I think it's the same deal - 1 and 2 or 3 and 4 if you don't want to also listen to another song backwards.

from what both brothers are saying in recent interviews there is too much money on the table for them to fumble the bag. Especially since Noel gets full ownership of the entire catalog next year and he's been saying he wants to shop for a buyer so his family is set for the rest of his life.

Actually, I think the ribbons in these are a little thicker than classic ribbons. But still... Too much moving air=bad news for ribbons. Take care of it. We used to put pop filters on the RCAs for room mics and drape a velvet bag over them and the coles before carrying them back to their cases.
