What's your current headache?

Sorry to hear. I hope this was caught early.
They referred me to Emory as my regular hip doc said they have specialist in it there, it's fairly advanced but nothing has collapsed yet. Oddly most of my pain is in the right hip, yet the left hip is more advanced, I think other issues on my right side aggravate it more. On the bright side everyone says hip replacements are a snap these days!

I commented earlier about my being a federal worker and that I'm worried about my job prospects come January. Man it's a headache not to be political. It's been a headache to come to work every day and carry on as normal while the news broadcasts statements from talking heads threatening to kick you out on your ass. It's been a headache not to be angry at people whose vote for this by administration because it translates to a vote for you to be out of a job. Hell, if I even see someone I suspect of voting for the guy I seethe.

Today I was in a leadership training for NIH employees. Most of its nonsense platitude spouting and performative exercises. Today the focus was on change management. We were put into breakout rooms to answer the question, "What opportunities can you seize from the changes of the incoming administration?"

There is good news though! When I'm eventually broke and on Medicaid, this guy will make sure I get reimbursed by the federal taxpayer for healing crystals, vitamin infusions, and colon cleanses.

I’ve heard the same thing. I’ve had a few family members get new hips and they all went really well and resulted in big quality of life improvements. I also watched them go through a lot of pain first though. Sorry to hear you’re going through that.

How about a lightweight headache?

Just finished calibrating a DEFX Larry.

HOLY FUCK FUCK SHIT.

That build doc is hot garbage. The placement of TP-2 makes it damn near impossible to actually properly bias the BBD. And I'm still not entirely sure what the balance trimpot is supposed to do. Just set that to its midpoint. Dialing in the pedal voltages is barely explained, and it doesn't really mention that the trimpots really only help achieve the low toe up voltage.

That said, it got me to dig into the schematic and figure out what I needed to do.

Woof. That took like a solid 4 hours

It's not what you think, unless you think they did it first, then it's what you think. (They did)
It recently started making it onto my fb feed on sale somewhere and I thought to myself “didn’t ppcb clone this years ago? How is this still a thing?”

My wife’s stepmom got both hips replaced and she’s now back to playing pickle ball. Good luck!

Here's the list of all the other times WWIII was started, I suspect this one will be just the same as those https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_lines_in_the_Russo-Ukrainian_War#Russian_red_lines
Nuclear powers will never go to war with directly with one another conventionally or otherwise due to mutually assured destruction.

That said I am worried about China invading Taiwan. Also Finland and Sweden joining Nato, distributing how to survive war pamphlets to their citizens, etc., then having their underwater internet cables cut.

FWIW I'm Finnish (which tbh is also why I feel like I have a better grasp on how russia acts in general), yes they did update the general guidelines on how to prepare for any sort of disturbance (including weather or natural catastrophes, it's the same document), but they did not actually distribute pamphlets on how to survive war. I feel safer being part of NATO rather than not being in NATO.

I am also worried about China and Taiwan (especially with the upcoming US administration), but I don't think this is the place to really get into politics talk - both as a forum, and also because it's a big bummer in a thread where people vent about their headaches.

Isn't the natural way to cleanse your colon built in? It's called taking a shit. I am 1000% on board with the bidet thing but why we gotta be deep sea ass douchin'?

Minimal upsides (if any), potential downsides (ruptured colon).

Instead of flushing it out, add more shit to your shit to make your shit not shitty

I used to joke about becoming a rapper and calling myself M.C. Diff.
